GLP5 GLT Reviews UK 2026: Does the Once-a-Day ‘GLP-1 Support’ Capsule Really Work? Our Test, Ingredients, Side Effects, Price & Honest Verdict

Few topics have taken over Britain’s weight-loss conversation like GLP-1 – the gut’s own ‘fullness hormone’ and the reason everyone is talking about the weight-loss jab. So it’s no surprise that a supplement called GLP5 GLT keeps popping up in social-media adverts and search bars – typed as ‘GLP5 GLT’, ‘GLP 5 GLT’, ‘GLP-5 GLT’, ‘GLP5GLT’ or, surprisingly often, ‘GLP5 GLP’ – and that GLP5 GLT reviews are what most people look for before they order. The idea, according to the vendor: one capsule a day with lunch or dinner to support metabolism, appetite control and the body’s natural GLP-1 activity. What the name doesn’t tell you is just as important: GLP5 GLT is a food supplement with amino acids, apple cider vinegar extract, guarana, zinc and chromium – not a GLP-1 medication, not a peptide and not an injection. We ordered the three-bottle pack from the official UK shop and had three testers take it for 30 days. Below you’ll find what the label really contains and what the research says about those doses, how the routine felt day to day, the real prices in pounds from the checkout, the written return policy – and honest answers to the two questions everyone asks: does GLP5 GLT work, and is it legit?

Quick check – the essentials in 30 seconds
  • 🏆 Our verdict: GLP5 GLT – 8.0/10, good. A once-a-day dietary-supplement capsule (30 per bottle) with L-arginine, apple cider vinegar extract, guarana, L-glutamine, L-leucine, zinc (150% NRV) and chromium (100% NRV); vegan and gluten-free according to the vendor. One capsule with two large glasses of water, 15–30 minutes before or with lunch or dinner – that’s the whole routine.
  • Strengths: A complete label with exact amounts per capsule – no ‘proprietary blend’; nothing to mix or measure; very well tolerated by all three testers – no jitters, normal sleep; the capsule-plus-water ritual before a meal gave every tester a useful structure; meaningful doses of chromium (normal blood glucose levels) and zinc (immune system); no harsh stimulants; from ÂŁ36.65 per bottle (ÂŁ1.22 a day) in the 3-pack with free delivery.
  • To be honest: GLP5 GLT is not a GLP-1 medication – it can’t be compared with prescription GLP-1 injections and doesn’t replace them. The amino acids studied for the body’s own GLP-1 release were used in grams in research; the capsule contains 50 mg of each. None of our testers noticed a marked appetite effect – what helped was the routine. The guarana’s caffeine content isn’t stated. Weight-loss, fat-burning and GLP-1 statements and the review figures come from the vendor.

What is GLP5 GLT – and what is the GLP5 supplement not?

GLP5 GLT capsules next to a glass of water – the once-a-day supplement routine

One capsule, two large glasses of water: that is the whole GLP5 GLT routine.

GLP5 GLT is a dietary supplement in capsule form, sold in bottles of 30 capsules – one bottle is a 30-day supply. The bottle calls it ‘GLP-1 & Metabolic Support’ that ‘helps support natural GLP-1 activation and healthy metabolism’, with icons for weight management support, metabolic balance and appetite control. The seller is Vitahealth Ltd, a company registered in Malta. In the UK and Ireland it is sold through a compact official shop: you choose one, two or three bottles and order on the same page, with separate pages for how to use, ingredients, returns and contact.

Each capsule combines three amino acids (L-arginine, L-glutamine, L-leucine), an apple cider vinegar extract, a guarana extract, and the minerals zinc and chromium; according to the vendor it is vegan, gluten-free and GMO-free. The vendor’s promise: GLP5 GLT ‘works with your body to boost metabolism, burn fat faster, curb cravings and balance blood sugar – for sustainable weight loss without harsh stimulants’. Those are the vendor’s words – statements about weight loss, fat burning, cravings and GLP-1 are not authorised health claims. Two statements are different, and we can confirm them: chromium contributes to normal macronutrient metabolism and to the maintenance of normal blood glucose levels, and zinc contributes to the normal function of the immune system and to the protection of cells from oxidative stress.

Because the name invites confusion, let’s be clear about what GLP5 GLT is not. It is not a GLP-1 medication: no prescription drug ingredient, no prescription, a capsule rather than an injection – and it has nothing to do with the experimental ‘GLP-5’ research peptides in some search results, or with prescription weight-loss tablets. The ‘GLP’ alludes to GLP-1, the body’s own satiety hormone: like other ‘GLP-1 support’ supplements sold in the UK, GLP5 GLT builds on the idea that certain nutrients may support its natural release. That means a simple, low-dose routine without needles or consultations – and no reason to expect the effects of the weight-loss jab. (Searching for ‘GLP5 GLT tablets’ or ‘GLP5 pill’? Same product – it comes as capsules.)

GLP-1 explained: the fullness hormone, the weight-loss jab and where a supplement fits

GLP-1 – short for glucagon-like peptide-1 – is a hormone released by cells in your gut when you eat. It signals to the brain that you’re getting full, slows down how quickly the stomach empties and helps the pancreas release insulin when blood sugar rises after a meal. Natural GLP-1 works in short bursts: it’s broken down within minutes. That’s one reason a meal rich in protein and fibre keeps you full for longer than a sugary snack – the meal itself triggers more of the body’s own satiety signals.

  • What prescription GLP-1 medications do: They are laboratory-made molecules that mimic GLP-1 but last much longer in the body – days rather than minutes. Prescribed after a medical assessment, mostly as injections, they are licensed medicines for type 2 diabetes and, for eligible people, weight management – with documented effects and side effects that need medical supervision. This is the ‘weight-loss jab’.
  • What a supplement can do: A food supplement can’t contain such a drug. ‘GLP-1 supplements’ use nutrients – amino acids, fibres, plant extracts, minerals – that have been studied for their influence on the body’s own GLP-1 release or on blood sugar after meals. The effects in research are small and usually appear at doses well above those in a capsule.
  • Why the two can’t be compared: A capsule with milligram amounts of nutrients can’t do what a long-acting medicine does – and GLP5 GLT doesn’t claim to be a drug. It doesn’t replace a prescription GLP-1 treatment. If you’re on one, don’t stop or change it without talking to your doctor.
  • Where a supplement fits: As a small daily helper alongside what genuinely shapes appetite and weight – regular meals with enough protein and fibre, enough water and sleep, more movement. For anyone searching ‘weight loss without injections’: the real alternative to the jab is a change in habits, which a supplement can at best support.

So we don’t judge GLP5 GLT against a prescription medicine – that would be unfair to both. We judge it as a once-a-day food supplement with a modest formula: is the label clear, is it easy to take and well tolerated, does the routine help in daily life, is the price fair, and is the company trustworthy?

GLP5 GLT ingredients: the official label – and what the evidence says

The label on the official shop’s ‘Ingredients’ page – identical in the UK and German shops – lists these amounts per daily dose of one capsule. Next to them: the vendor’s description and our assessment of the research.

Ingredient Per capsule What the vendor says Our assessment
L-arginine HCl 100 mg Part of the amino-acid blend that ‘supports metabolism’ A normal diet provides several grams a day. No proven effect on weight; 100 mg is a small amount.
Apple cider vinegar extract 100 mg ‘Digestion & balance’ Small studies used one to two tablespoons of vinegar a day and found modest effects; acetic acid content not stated.
Guarana extract (Paullinia cupana) 100 mg ‘Natural energy & focus’ Natural caffeine source; the amount isn’t stated – small at this dose, far less than a cup of coffee. Mild alertness is plausible.
L-glutamine 50 mg Amino acid for metabolism and natural GLP-1 activation Studied for stimulating the body’s own GLP-1 release – at gram doses, 100 times or more what the capsule contains.
L-leucine 50 mg Amino acid for metabolism Linked to the insulin and GLP-1 response to protein-rich meals, again in grams. One egg contains roughly ten times as much.
Zinc (citrate) 15 mg (150% NRV) Immune system and cell protection Authorised claims: normal immune function, protection of cells from oxidative stress. No effect on weight.
Chromium (picolinate) 40 ”g (100% NRV) Macronutrient metabolism and normal blood glucose Authorised claims: normal macronutrient metabolism, normal blood glucose levels. Small effects on appetite and weight in studies.
Not stated – – Caffeine content of the guarana, acetic acid content of the vinegar extract, standardisation of both extracts.

Credit where it’s due: every active ingredient is listed with its exact amount, and nothing hides behind a ‘proprietary blend’ – still surprisingly rare among GLP-1 supplements. That is what makes an honest assessment possible. Here is each ingredient in turn.

L-arginine (100 mg): the amino acid behind nitric oxide

L-arginine amino acid – the first ingredient on the GLP5 GLT label

L-arginine is an amino acid your body uses, among other things, to make nitric oxide, which helps blood vessels relax; a normal diet provides several grams a day. For weight loss there’s no solid evidence – studies used gram doses and came to mixed conclusions – so at 100 mg it’s best seen as part of the amino-acid blend rather than an active ingredient in its own right. At higher doses arginine can lower blood pressure. The vendor says GLP5 GLT has no effect on blood pressure, which is plausible at 100 mg – but if you take blood-pressure tablets, have a quick word with your GP or pharmacist anyway.

Apple cider vinegar extract (100 mg): the classic, in capsule form

Apple cider vinegar extract – one of the seven GLP5 GLT ingredients

Apple cider vinegar is one of the UK’s most searched-for weight-loss helpers. The research is small but real: in a handful of studies, one to two tablespoons of vinegar a day, diluted and taken with meals, had modest effects on blood sugar after eating, on satiety and, over months, on body weight. GLP5 GLT contains 100 mg of an extract whose acetic acid content isn’t stated – a fraction of those amounts, and the vendor’s wording, ‘digestion & balance’, is suitably modest. The upside of the capsule: no sour taste and no acid on your tooth enamel.

Guarana extract (100 mg): a little natural caffeine

Guarana fruit and guarana powder – the natural caffeine source in GLP5 GLT

Guarana (Paullinia cupana) is an Amazonian plant whose seeds are naturally rich in caffeine – the ingredient the vendor links to ‘natural energy & focus’. That’s plausible: caffeine makes you more alert. The label doesn’t state how much caffeine the 100 mg of extract contains; at this dose it’s small, far less than a cup of coffee, which fits the ‘without harsh stimulants’ promise. None of our testers noticed jitters or sleep problems – including the one who took it with dinner.

L-glutamine (50 mg): studied for GLP-1 – in gram amounts

L-glutamine amino acid – the ingredient in GLP5 GLT linked to natural GLP-1 release

Glutamine is the most abundant amino acid in the blood and a key fuel for the cells lining the gut. It’s also the ingredient closest to the idea behind the product: in laboratory and human studies, glutamine taken by mouth stimulated the gut’s release of GLP-1. The catch is the dose. Those studies used grams – 100 times or more than the 50 mg in a capsule – and a normal diet already supplies several grams a day from meat, fish, eggs, dairy, beans and tofu. The mechanism is real, but a noticeable GLP-1 effect can’t be expected from 50 mg.

L-leucine (50 mg): the protein signal

Leucine-rich foods – eggs, almonds and chickpeas – illustrating the L-leucine in GLP5 GLT

Leucine is an essential amino acid best known for building muscle protein – and part of the reason protein-rich meals keep you full, because amino acids contribute to the release of satiety hormones such as GLP-1 and to the insulin response after eating. Again, studies looked at gram amounts. For perspective: a single egg, a handful of almonds or a small portion of chickpeas – the foods in the picture – each provide roughly ten times as much leucine as one capsule. Nice on paper; the real lever is enough protein at every meal, which is also our best tip for anyone interested in ‘natural GLP-1’.

Zinc (15 mg, 150% NRV): immune system and cell protection

Zinc-rich foods – pumpkin seeds, cashews and chickpeas – representing the zinc in GLP5 GLT

Each capsule provides 15 mg of zinc as zinc citrate – 150% of the nutrient reference value (NRV). Here we can speak plainly, because these are authorised claims: zinc contributes to the normal function of the immune system and to the protection of cells from oxidative stress. It has no effect on body weight, and the vendor doesn’t claim one. The NHS advises not to take more than 25 mg of zinc a day from supplements unless your doctor recommends it; GLP5 GLT alone sits comfortably below that, but add up the amounts if you also take a multivitamin or zinc product.

Chromium (40 ”g, 100% NRV): blood glucose and macronutrient metabolism

Chromium-rich foods – broccoli, wholegrain bread and green beans – representing the chromium picolinate in GLP5 GLT

Chromium, here as chromium picolinate, has the clearest official standing of all the ingredients: it contributes to normal macronutrient metabolism and to the maintenance of normal blood glucose levels. At 40 ”g, the capsule provides exactly 100% of the NRV. In studies on weight and appetite, chromium picolinate has shown small effects at best – a sensible baseline nutrient, not a fat burner. If you take medication that lowers blood sugar, for example for diabetes, talk to your doctor or pharmacist before adding any chromium supplement.

The rest of the label – and a different list you may have seen

The full ingredient list reads: L-arginine hydrochloride, capsule shell (HPMC), apple cider vinegar extract, guarana extract, bulking agent (microcrystalline cellulose), L-glutamine, L-leucine, zinc citrate, anti-caking agent (E470b), chromium picolinate. HPMC is the plant-based capsule shell; microcrystalline cellulose and E470b (magnesium salts of fatty acids) are standard processing aids.

If you’ve seen the brand’s German-language product page, you may have noticed a short ‘ingredients’ tab mentioning spirulina, matcha, L-carnitine, L-arginine, apple cider vinegar extract and zinc. Spirulina, matcha and L-carnitine aren’t part of the formula on the label. What counts is the label itself – the panel on the official shop’s ‘Ingredients’ page, the same in the UK and German shops. That’s what this review is based on.

The ingredients in one paragraph

A clearly declared, gentle formula: chromium and zinc at meaningful doses with authorised claims, plus amino acids and plant extracts that research links to appetite, blood sugar and natural GLP-1 release, but in small amounts – the studies used grams, the capsule contains milligrams. A noticeable GLP-1 effect isn’t something we’d expect. What it offers is a simple, well-tolerated daily routine without harsh stimulants – realistic as a helper alongside a calorie-aware diet and more movement.

How we tested GLP5 GLT

We ordered the 3-bottle pack (£109.95, free delivery) through the official UK shop like any other customer and asked three healthy adult testers to take one capsule a day for 30 days – one bottle each, exactly as the label says. None took regular medication, none was pregnant or breastfeeding, and none was on a prescription weight-loss treatment. Each kept a short daily diary. We rated six criteria:

  • Label and formula transparency: A complete declaration, exact amounts, and how plausible the vendor’s statements are in light of them.
  • Ease of use and daily routine: Swallowing, timing around meals, the water instruction, and how easy it is to remember.
  • Effects in everyday life: Energy, appetite at meals, cravings and snacking – as noted in the diaries, subjective and honest.
  • Tolerance and safety: Stomach, sleep, caffeine, side effects – and which situations need a doctor’s advice.
  • Value for money: Cost per day compared with the alternatives people typically consider.
  • Vendor, returns and support: Company details, written policies, payment options, contact.

Three testers, three routines: (A) a woman in her forties with an office job, lunch at her desk and a reliable 3 p.m. biscuit habit; (B) a man in his fifties who works from home, eats his main meal in the evening and tends to graze afterwards; (C) a woman in her thirties who finds capsules hard to swallow and drinks three to four cups of tea a day. We deliberately publish no weight figures: thirty days with three people say nothing reliable about stones or kilos, and individual numbers shouldn’t look like typical results. What we can report is how the capsule fits into a day.

GLP5 GLT in practice: 30 days, three testers, one capsule a day

GLP5 GLT bottle and a daily capsule in a bright kitchen as part of the mealtime routine

Part of the daily routine: one capsule, taken with water shortly before or with lunch or dinner.

Unboxing and first impression

The parcel arrived within the delivery estimate shown in the checkout: three sealed bottles of 30 capsules, with the full label – ingredients, amounts, directions, warnings – printed on each. The capsules are plain in the best sense: a plant-based shell, an ordinary size and a faint, slightly sour-herbal smell when you open the bottle, normal for vinegar and guarana extracts. Two of our three testers swallowed them without any trouble from day one.

Tester A: lunch at the desk and the 3 p.m. biscuit

Tester A took her capsule about 20 minutes before lunch with two large glasses of water – and in the first week, the water was the biggest change. She realised how little she normally drank at work and arrived at lunch slightly less ravenous than usual. For the first two or three days she had a briefly ‘full’ feeling after the second glass, which disappeared once she sipped it over ten minutes. On some afternoons the 3 p.m. slump felt a little milder – plausible with the small amount of caffeine and the extra fluid – but on stressful days the biscuit tin still won. Her diary verdict: ‘It hasn’t switched off my appetite – but the routine makes me stop and think before lunch.’

Tester B: dinner as the main meal – and evening grazing

Tester B took the capsule directly with his evening meal, which the label allows. Because of the guarana we asked him to watch his sleep: no difference at all, unsurprising given the small amount. What he did notice was that the two glasses of water made him eat more slowly, and that on several evenings the grazing after dinner was less automatic – especially when dinner included a proper portion of protein. He was refreshingly candid: ‘If I’m honest, I couldn’t tell you whether it’s the capsule, the water or the fact that I was paying attention.’ He forgot the capsule twice when eating out and simply carried on the next day – one capsule a day means no doubling up.

Tester C: when capsules are hard to swallow

Tester C used the vendor’s tip for people who struggle with capsules: open it and mix the contents with water. The result is a slightly cloudy drink that tastes mildly sour and a little bitter – drinkable rather than pleasant, and the second glass of water helps. After a week she tried swallowing the capsule whole with a big sip of water, managed fine and stuck with that. The guarana on top of her tea made no noticeable difference. She couldn’t pin a change in appetite on the capsule, but liked having a fixed ‘pre-lunch moment’ with water on working-from-home days, when meals tend to blur into snacks.

Energy, appetite, digestion and sleep after 30 days

The picture was consistent – and consistently modest. Tolerance was very good: apart from Tester A’s briefly ‘full’ stomach in the first days, nobody reported side effects – no stomach upset, no dry mouth (which the vendor lists as rare), no jitters, normal sleep. Energy: a mild lift on some afternoons for Tester A, nothing noticeable for B and C. Appetite: nobody experienced the strong ‘food noise goes quiet’ effect people describe with the weight-loss jab – exactly what we expected at these doses. What helped all three was the structure: capsule plus water before a meal meant slowing down, drinking enough and starting a little less hungry – in fairness, more thanks to the water and attention than to milligram amounts of amino acids. With the vendor recommending at least three months, 30 days is a first impression.

Our impression after 30 days

GLP5 GLT is a simple, well-made daily supplement that slots into any routine: one capsule, two glasses of water, done. It was very well tolerated, the label is transparent, and chromium and zinc come at sensible doses. The ‘GLP-1’ part is more name than noticeable effect at these amounts – nobody should expect their appetite to switch off. What GLP5 GLT does well is anchor a healthy pre-meal habit.

What GLP5 GLT can’t do – an honest list

A fair score needs clear limits:

  • It is not a GLP-1 medication. No drug ingredient, no prescription, no injection – not comparable with prescription GLP-1 injections or tablets and no replacement for them. If you’re on such a treatment, don’t stop or swap it; talk to your doctor.
  • The doses are modest. 50 mg each of glutamine and leucine, 100 mg each of arginine and apple cider vinegar extract are small compared with the grams and tablespoons used in research. A noticeable GLP-1 or appetite effect can’t be expected; zinc and chromium, by contrast, come at meaningful doses.
  • GLP5 GLT weight loss depends on you. ‘Boost your fat burning with just one capsule a day’, ‘burn fat faster’ and ‘curb cravings’ are the vendor’s statements, not authorised claims. Results depend on diet and activity and vary from person to person.
  • It isn’t quick. The vendor itself recommends at least three months – a routine helper, not a 30-day transformation.
  • The caffeine content isn’t stated. Guarana contains caffeine; the amount is small but not on the label.
  • It isn’t for everyone. Not for children, under-18s or pregnant women. Ask your doctor or pharmacist first if you’re breastfeeding, take medication – especially for blood sugar or blood pressure – or have a medical condition.
  • Vendor figures are vendor figures. ‘4.8/5 based on over 5,000 reviews’, ‘50,000+ satisfied customers’, the customer survey and the ‘clinically tested’ seal on the bottle artwork aren’t backed by a published source we could check, so they didn’t count in our rating. The shop’s footer notes that its statements haven’t been evaluated by the Food Standards Agency.
  • Returns cover sealed bottles. The written policy gives you 14 days from receipt for sealed, unopened bottles – easy to plan for: with two or three bottles, open one first.

None of this makes GLP5 GLT a bad product. It’s a transparent, well-tolerated, low-dose supplement whose name promises more science than its doses deliver. Our score of 8.0 reflects both sides.

GLP5 GLT vs. other GLP-1 supplements, apple cider vinegar capsules, fibre, ‘fat burners’ and prescription injections

‘Best GLP-1 supplement UK’, ‘natural GLP-1 booster’, ‘appetite suppressant UK’, ‘weight loss tablets instead of injections’ – the searches show what people are looking for. Here’s how GLP5 GLT compares with the usual options, based on our test and general product knowledge:

Option What it is Evidence & effect Our take
GLP5 GLT Once-a-day capsule: three amino acids, apple cider vinegar extract, guarana, zinc, chromium Authorised claims for chromium and zinc; other ingredients in small doses Transparent, gentle, very easy to take; modest effects; £1.22–£1.83 a day.
Other ‘GLP-1 support’ supplements Fibres, probiotics, plant compounds such as berberine, minerals Depends on formula and dose; some plant compounds interact with medication Compare labels, not names: amount per daily dose, full declaration.
Apple cider vinegar capsules or gummies Vinegar extract on its own; gummies often with added sugar Small studies with one to two tablespoons of vinegar a day Cheap and simple – essentially one GLP5 GLT ingredient on its own.
Fibre supplements (e.g. glucomannan, psyllium) Soluble fibre that swells in the stomach Glucomannan has an authorised weight-loss claim as part of an energy-restricted diet at 3 g a day, with water before meals Well-supported ‘fullness’ option; needs plenty of water, can cause bloating at first.
Caffeine-based ‘fat burners’ and appetite suppressants High doses of caffeine, often with green tea or other extracts Slight increase in energy use; jitters and poor sleep are common complaints GLP5 GLT is the gentler choice – a small guarana dose, not a stimulant kick.
Protein- and fibre-rich meals Eggs, fish, pulses, Greek yoghurt, vegetables, wholegrains Well established: they trigger the body’s own GLP-1 and other satiety signals The most effective ‘natural GLP-1’ approach – and what GLP5 GLT works best alongside.
Prescription GLP-1 injections Licensed medicines, prescribed after a medical assessment Substantial, documented effects for eligible patients; side effects need medical supervision A different league – not comparable, and no supplement replaces them. Ask your GP if you might be eligible.

Our conclusion: for the effect of a prescription GLP-1 treatment, talk to your GP – no supplement delivers it. For a gentle, transparent daily supplement alongside healthier eating, GLP5 GLT is a sensible choice: easier than vinegar, gentler than a fat burner and more clearly labelled than many ‘GLP-1 support’ products.

How to take GLP5 GLT – step by step

The directions from the label and the shop’s ‘How to use’ page, with tips from our test:

  1. One capsule a day – no more. Take one capsule once daily and don’t exceed the recommended daily intake.
  2. Swallow it whole with two large glasses of water. Don’t chew it. Tip from Tester A: sip the water over a few minutes rather than downing both glasses at once.
  3. Time it around a main meal. According to the label, about 15–30 minutes before, or directly with, lunch or dinner. Pick the meal where you tend to eat the most.
  4. Can’t swallow capsules? The vendor says you can open the capsule and mix the contents with water. Expect a mildly sour, slightly bitter taste.
  5. Forgot a day? Simply carry on the next day with one capsule – don’t take two.
  6. Mind the caffeine and other supplements. If you’re caffeine-sensitive, lunchtime is the better slot. If you also take a multivitamin or a zinc or chromium product, add up the amounts (the NHS advises no more than 25 mg of zinc a day from supplements unless your doctor recommends it).
  7. Give it time – and give it support. The vendor recommends at least three months, ideally alongside meals with enough protein and fibre, regular movement and enough sleep. Keep the bottle closed and out of the reach of children.

Who GLP5 GLT is for – and who should skip it

GLP5 GLT makes sense for you if:

  • You’d like a simple once-a-day supplement as part of a healthier eating plan – ten seconds a day, easy to remember.
  • You prefer a gentle formula without harsh stimulants to a caffeine-heavy ‘fat burner’.
  • You like a clear routine around a main meal – the two glasses of water alone are a useful habit.
  • You want chromium (normal blood glucose levels) and zinc (immune system) in your daily routine, from a vegan, gluten-free capsule with a transparent label.
  • You have realistic expectations: a helper alongside diet and movement, not a shortcut.

You can skip it if:

  • You’re hoping for the effect of the weight-loss jab – no food supplement delivers that.
  • You’re under 18 or pregnant – the product isn’t intended for you.
  • You’re on a prescription GLP-1 treatment and thinking of switching – please don’t; talk to your doctor.
  • You expect clear results within a month, or already take high-dose zinc or chromium products.

When to talk to a doctor or pharmacist first

Please ask your GP or pharmacist before you start if:

  • you take medication that lowers blood sugar, for example for diabetes (chromium contributes to normal blood glucose levels);
  • you take blood-pressure medication (arginine can lower blood pressure at higher doses – the vendor says GLP5 GLT has no effect on it, but it’s worth checking);
  • you’re on a prescribed GLP-1 treatment – don’t stop, reduce or replace it on your own;
  • you have a medical condition, are breastfeeding, take other regular medication or are sensitive to caffeine.

And if you want to lose a significant amount of weight, or your weight affects your health, your GP is the right first port of call.

GLP5 GLT reviews UK: customer experiences and complaints

The vendor states ‘4.8/5 based on over 5,000 reviews’ and ‘50,000+ satisfied customers’, and quotes its own customer survey: of 1,327 customers asked, 87% say they reached their personal goal and 94% would recommend GLP5 GLT (‘GLP5 GLT user research, 2026’). We can’t verify these figures – they come from the vendor, not an independent platform – so read them as advertising. As the brand is new, independent long-term experiences are still rare – so we compared the vendor’s material with our own observations.

On its German-language product page the vendor also shows testimonials from six customers in Berlin, Stuttgart, Hamburg, Dortmund, Cologne and Essen. The themes: more energy, feeling lighter, a flatter stomach, more motivation to stick with healthier habits. These are selected, vendor-published testimonials – not typical results – and we don’t repeat any figures from them.

What customers say (vendor pages) Does it match our test?
‘More energy during the day’ Partly: a mild lift on some afternoons for Tester A, plausible with the small guarana dose; B and C noticed nothing.
‘I feel lighter’ / ‘flatter stomach’ Not something our testers described, and we publish no body measurements. Over 30 days, such changes depend far more on diet than on a capsule.
‘It keeps me motivated’ Yes – this matched our experience best. The daily capsule-and-water moment works as a check-in with your own goals.
Typical criticism of GLP-1 supplements in general: ‘didn’t notice anything’, ‘expected it to work like the jab’, ‘pricey for what’s inside’ Realistic for GLP5 GLT too: the effects are modest, it isn’t a jab, and the per-day price is mid-range – lowest in the 3-pack.

The pattern: positive experiences revolve around an easy routine, good tolerance and motivation; negative ones around expecting an injection-like appetite effect. Go in knowing GLP5 GLT is a gentle supplement, not a medicine, and you’re far more likely to be satisfied.

Is GLP5 GLT legit or a scam? Company, returns and support

A name that sounds like a medicine and adverts that mention GLP-1 understandably make people ask: is GLP5 GLT legit, is it real, is it a scam? What we found: the seller named in the legal notice and the terms and conditions is Vitahealth Ltd, SG24 Soho Savoy Gardens, Triq D’Argens, GĆŒira GZR 1362, Malta, VAT number MT30732424. Terms and a privacy policy are published, the returns page sets out the conditions in writing, and customer service is available by e-mail at mail@glp5-glt.com and through a contact form. Returns go to GLP5 GLT, De Linge 33, 8253 PJ Dronten, Netherlands.

The checkout is SSL-encrypted, and you pay by PayPal (Express Checkout) or card. A detail we liked: according to the shop, your card isn’t charged until the order ships, and you can cancel before dispatch by e-mail headed ‘Cancellation’ with your order number. It’s a one-off purchase – no subscription was offered anywhere in the order process – and what we received matched the description: sealed bottles, 30 capsules each, a label identical to the ‘Ingredients’ page.

Two more points people search for: as far as we’re aware, GLP5 GLT hasn’t been tested by Which? or a comparable consumer organisation; and the vendor mentions no TV appearance, Dragons’ Den included – we found none. In short: a real product from an EU-registered company with written policies – legit. The key is simply to understand what you’re buying: a food supplement, not a GLP-1 medicine.

Where to buy GLP5 GLT: Amazon, Boots, Holland & Barrett or the official website?

GLP5 GLT is sold direct to consumers through the official GLP5 GLT shop – not on Amazon UK, not at Boots, Superdrug or Holland & Barrett, and not in Irish pharmacies or health-food shops. That has practical advantages: you buy straight from the seller without a retail markup, you get exactly the label described here, the written return policy applies, and questions go directly to the company that ships it.

Boots and Holland & Barrett do stock other ‘GLP-1 support’ supplements – if you compare, compare labels and doses rather than names. Ordering from Ireland works through the same shop; the checkout shows the delivery options and currency for your address.

GLP5 GLT three-bottle pack – a 90-day supply of the once-a-day capsules

Three bottles, 90 capsules: the pack that matches the vendor’s three-month recommendation.

These are the prices we saw in the official UK shop in October 2026, in pounds sterling. One bottle holds 30 capsules – one month. The final total is shown in the checkout before you pay:

Pack Price Per bottle Per day Lasts
1 bottle (30 capsules) £55.00 + £4.95 delivery = £59.95 (crossed-out reference price £79.95) £55.00 £1.83 (£2.00 incl. delivery) 30 days – for trying it
2 bottles ÂŁ82.95, free delivery ÂŁ41.48 ÂŁ1.38 60 days
3 bottles £109.95, free delivery £36.65 £1.22 90 days – matches the 3-month recommendation

It’s a one-off purchase – no subscription, no automatic repeat orders – paid by PayPal Express Checkout or card. Our recommendation: since the vendor recommends at least three months, the 3-bottle pack is the best value at £1.22 a day with free delivery. With two or three bottles, open one first: if you decide within 14 days of receipt that the capsules aren’t for you, the sealed bottles can go back.

  • Delivery: ÂŁ4.95 for one bottle, free for two and three. Orders are usually dispatched the same or next working day; the checkout shows the dispatch date and delivery estimate (for Irish addresses, also the delivery options and currency).
  • Returns: within 14 calendar days of receipt, for sealed, unopened, unused bottles in their original packaging. E-mail customer service first, then send the parcel back (return postage is paid by you); the refund goes to your original payment method within 14 days of the return arriving. Damaged goods: report within 14 days with photos and you’ll receive a replacement.
  • Cancellation: possible before dispatch by e-mail (‘Cancellation’ plus order number); according to the shop, your card is only charged once the order ships.
  • Support: mail@glp5-glt.com and the contact form in the official shop; seller Vitahealth Ltd, Malta; returns address in Dronten, Netherlands.

GLP5 GLT reviews: frequently asked questions

What is GLP5 GLT – and what is the GLP5 supplement?

A once-a-day dietary-supplement capsule marketed as ‘GLP-1 & Metabolic Support’, with L-arginine, apple cider vinegar extract, guarana extract, L-glutamine, L-leucine, zinc and chromium. It’s a food supplement – not a medicine, peptide or injection – sold by Vitahealth Ltd (Malta) through its official shop. ‘GLP5 GLT capsules’, ‘GLP5 GLT tablets’ and ‘GLP5 pill’ all mean the same product: capsules with a plant-based shell, unrelated to experimental ‘GLP-5’ research peptides.

Is GLP5 GLT a GLP-1 medication or an alternative to the weight-loss jab?

No. It contains no drug ingredient and can’t be compared with prescription GLP-1 injections or tablets, which are licensed medicines that mimic the GLP-1 hormone for days. GLP5 GLT contains small amounts of nutrients linked to the body’s own GLP-1 release. It doesn’t replace a prescription treatment – if you’re on one, don’t stop or change it without your doctor.

Does GLP5 GLT really work for weight loss?

As a small helper, not a driver. Chromium contributes to normal macronutrient metabolism and normal blood glucose levels (authorised claim); weight loss, fat burning and craving control are the vendor’s statements, and the amino acids and extracts are dosed far below research levels. None of our testers noticed a marked appetite effect in 30 days, but all three valued the routine of a capsule with two glasses of water before a meal. Results depend on diet and activity and vary.

GLP5 GLT reviews and complaints – what do customers say?

The vendor reports ‘4.8/5 based on over 5,000 reviews’ and a customer survey in which 94% would recommend it; we can’t verify either. The typical complaint about GLP-1 supplements – ‘I didn’t notice much’ – usually comes from people expecting the effect of the jab.

Is GLP5 GLT legit or a scam?

Legit. It’s sold by Vitahealth Ltd, registered in Malta (VAT MT30732424), with published terms, a privacy policy, a written return policy, an SSL-encrypted checkout, PayPal and card payment, and support by e-mail and contact form. Our order arrived as described.

What are the GLP5 GLT ingredients?

Per capsule: L-arginine HCl 100 mg, apple cider vinegar extract 100 mg, guarana extract 100 mg, L-glutamine 50 mg, L-leucine 50 mg, zinc 15 mg (150% NRV), chromium 40 ”g (100% NRV). Plus HPMC capsule shell, microcrystalline cellulose and E470b; zinc as zinc citrate, chromium as chromium picolinate. Vegan and gluten-free according to the vendor.

Does GLP5 GLT have side effects – is it safe to take?

Our three testers tolerated it very well. The vendor mentions dry mouth in rare cases (up to 1 in 1,000) and possible mild digestive discomfort; guarana adds a small, unquantified amount of caffeine. Not for children, under-18s or pregnant women. If you’re breastfeeding, take medication or have a medical condition, ask your doctor or pharmacist first.

Can I take GLP5 GLT with medication or the contraceptive pill?

According to the vendor, GLP5 GLT has no effect on the contraceptive pill or blood pressure, and driving is fine. If you take regular medication, still check with your GP or pharmacist first – especially with blood-sugar-lowering medicines (chromium), blood-pressure medication (arginine) or a prescription GLP-1 treatment.

How do I take GLP5 GLT – and can I open the capsule?

One capsule once a day, whole, with two large glasses of water, about 15–30 minutes before or directly with lunch or dinner; don’t exceed one a day. If you can’t swallow capsules, the vendor says you can open one and mix the contents with water. The vendor recommends at least three months.

Is GLP5 GLT on Amazon, at Boots or Holland & Barrett?

No – only through the official shop, not on Amazon UK, at Boots, Superdrug, Holland & Barrett or in Irish pharmacies.

How much does GLP5 GLT cost in the UK?

In the official UK shop (October 2026): 1 bottle £55.00 plus £4.95 delivery (£59.95), 2 bottles £82.95 (£41.48 each), 3 bottles £109.95 (£36.65 each), both with free delivery – £1.22 to £1.83 a day. One-off purchase, no subscription.

Was GLP5 GLT on Dragons’ Den?

Not as far as we can tell. The vendor’s shop mentions no TV appearance, Dragons’ Den or otherwise, and we found no evidence of one.

Is there a GLP-1 tablet over the counter – and do GLP-1 supplements work?

GLP-1 medicines in the UK are prescription-only, as injections or tablets – none is sold over the counter. Products sold freely as ‘GLP-1 supplements’ or ‘natural GLP-1 boosters’ are food supplements; some ingredients have been studied for supporting the body’s own GLP-1 release, mostly at much higher doses. They can support a healthy routine, but they don’t work like the medicines.

How do I contact customer service and return GLP5 GLT?

By e-mail at mail@glp5-glt.com or through the contact form in the official shop. Returns are possible within 14 calendar days of receipt for sealed, unopened bottles: e-mail customer service first, then send the parcel to the Netherlands returns address (return postage paid by you); the refund follows within 14 days of the return arriving. Tip: with several bottles, open one first.

Has GLP5 GLT been tested by Which?

We’re not aware of any test by Which? or a comparable consumer organisation. Our score is based on our own 30-day test, the official label and the vendor’s published information.

Verdict: a gentle, transparent daily routine – not a GLP-1 medicine

Our verdict

GLP5 GLT is an uncomplicated once-a-day supplement with a fully declared label: three amino acids, apple cider vinegar extract, a little guarana, and chromium and zinc at meaningful doses – chromium contributes to normal blood glucose levels, zinc to the normal function of the immune system. In our 30-day test it was very well tolerated and easy to take, and the routine of one capsule with two large glasses of water before a main meal gave all three testers a genuinely useful structure. Vegan, no subscription, from £1.22 a day in the 3-pack. Score 8.0/10 – good.

Being honest, which is the point of GLP5 GLT reviews like ours: the name promises more than the doses can deliver. GLP5 GLT is not a GLP-1 medication, can’t be compared with prescription injections and doesn’t replace them – and at milligram doses, none of our testers felt their appetite switch off. If you see it for what it is – a small, gentle daily helper alongside a calorie-aware diet and more movement – and choose the 3-bottle pack to follow the three-month recommendation, GLP5 GLT is a pleasant, transparent product to build a healthier routine around.
